Goldfish Salvation by Riusuke Fukahori

After taking a look at this video that my friend Dionne posted on facebook I was pretty impressed with this artist and had to look him up.

Even though initially in the video he started painting at first, when he poured the transparent resin into the box I thought, are those real gold fish? The resin gives the illusion of life like gold fish which are quite amazing and artistic.

Scroll down to watch the video and see photos of some of his work.

Artist Riusuke Fukahori’s London debut exhibition “Goldfish Salvation” was held at ICN gallery from 1 December 2011 – 11 January 2012.

I have never seen something so moving, beautiful, and so peaceful as this kind of wonderful art. This gentleman has truly been blessed through his eyes to see the beauty and then through his hands to create it. I live in an assisted living facility in Indiana and the elderly here enjoy watching two of God’s creations, birds and the fish in the pond in the summer. This gentleman seems to have captured that feeling of movement, freedom and youth we all still want. If it could only be summer all the time. Thank you for your art!
